Privacy policy

Duit is a personal daily expense tracker made by an individual developer in Malaysia. This page explains what data the app and this website handle and why.

What we store

• Account: your email address and name (and, if you use Google Sign-In, your Google profile picture), used to sign you in and keep your data in sync between your phone and this website.
• Your money records: the transactions, accounts, categories and budgets you enter, including any notes and descriptions you type. They are stored on our server so the phone app and this website show the same data.
• Settings: your currency and the day your month starts.
• Billing: payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card number or bank login; we keep your Stripe customer ID and subscription status.

Services we use

• Google Sign-In, if you choose it, to confirm your identity. We receive your email, name and profile picture.
• Stripe for Duit Pro payments (card, FPX and GrabPay).
• Resend to send account emails such as verification and password-reset codes.
• Laravel Cloud (Singapore region) hosts the server, database and this website.

What we do not do

• No advertising, no analytics trackers, no selling or sharing of your personal or financial data.
• We do not connect to your bank. Everything in Duit is what you enter yourself.

Your choices

Duit Pro members can export their transactions as CSV at any time. You can delete your account and all data on our server by emailing the address below; we do it within 7 days. Data stored on your phone is deleted when you uninstall the app.
